Live-in Housekeeper/Cook, Czech Republic
We are looking for independent, smart and very responsible person who will be able to take care of client’s couple properties/residences, do light housework and cook. Our client, a family of four with a large residence in Brno, are looking for a Live-in/out Housekeeper/Cook to assist with the smooth running of their household. The best fit will be person, who is able to travel alone (within Czech Republic but also to abroad) and prepare the property before owners come.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to location where the client has property and prepare it for living after season where nobody was there.
- All housekeeping duties to the absolute highest standard including clothes care, art, and antiques.
- Wardrobe management, mending/sewing garments, hand-washing of delicate materials, dry cleaning.
- Preparing dinner daily – prepared from scratch. A recipe collection and some guidance is provided.
- Occasional help with dinner parties for up to 8 guests.
- Dealing with tradesmen/repairs.
- Maintaining all laundry room appliances.
- Flowers/plant care (in the house mostly – there is a Gardener).
- Food/ local shopping/post office.
- Dog friendly
- Excellent front of house manners – greeting guests etc.
Employment and Working conditions:
- Location: Czech Republic.
- Salary up to 682 USD.
- 4 weeks of paid vacation annually.
- Paid health insurance.
- Accommodation and food is for free.
- Employment contract for 2 years with possibility to extend.
- Stay in the family – accommodation and food is for free.
- 6 working days per a week (Monday – Saturday, Sunday off).
- Working hours based on requirements of the family 10-12 per a day (flexibility is required, not everyday is the same, work is not 10-12 hours consistently)
Requirements:
- Previous experience as nanny is must.
- Very good knowledge of English is must.
- Knowledge of cooking (highly appreciated).
- Age between 30 – 40.
- Personality which we expect from great nanny – nice, willing to learn new things, flexible, nurturing spirit, patient, kind, playful, energetic, responsible.
