Carpenter
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing building frameworks and structures. This includes working with materials such as wood, plywood, and wallboard. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of carpentry techniques and materials, excellent measuring and mathematical skills, and a good physical condition.
Duties:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
- Prepare layouts using measuring tools, taking into account building codes and safety regulations.
- Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other material (e.g., fiberglass) according to measurements.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, molding, and hardware.
- Maintain, repair, and remodel existing structures.
- Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, and other materials.
- Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.
- Instruct and direct laborers and other construction helpers.
- Ensure that completed structures are level, square, secure, and weatherproof.
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
- Work with specialists such as electricians and plumbers to install other parts of a building.

Requirements:
- Driving License: A full and clean driving license is essential due to our rural location and you will be required to drive company vehicles during the day.
- COE at least 1 year of proven experience
- High school diploma
